• Natural Abilities

  Music
  Abotu is a talented musician. Not only does he have many years of practice, it's practically in his blood. His people are known, rather infamously might I add, for their musical abilities. However, his skills are limited to the fiddle. While he could possibly pick up a new instrument rather quickly, he would never be nearly as skilled as he is with his fiddle. His musical talents are his pride and joy. Hardly a day goes by that he doesn't dedicate at least a small amount of time practicing.
  
  Marksmanship
  While he's hardly an expert archer, he's a pretty good shot. That is, if he's standing still. His aim may be true, but it takes him a moment to line up his shot. The target can move all it wants, it's only his own motion that seems to slow him down. While it's more common for his type to be proficient with the longbow, he is far more comfortable with a crossbow.
  
  Agility
  When one has the legs of a cricket, you can't help but have some level of agility. Since the loss of his wings, he has spent more time using his legs than most of his people. This combined with their already above average abilities allow him to leap long distances without much problem at all. However, it is still far from being as efficient as flight.
  
  Camouflage
  His colors allow him to easily blend in to just about any forest environment. This natural ability is complimented by many of his other natural features. His light weight prevents him from making too much noise as he walks. Even if he steps directly on a twig or dead leaf, it would hardly make a sound. He could easily jump from tree to tree without making a sound. However, his ability to blend in is greatly hindered outside of green forests. Though his ability to move silently is universal.

  Irresistible Dance

  1 Prep Magic Song
  A magic song known only by the Grig. Though some highly experienced bards are able to replicate it, the Grig have been playing it for centuries. This ability makes all within earshot begin to dance uncontrollably. However the effect does not seem to kick in until about ten seconds (one post) into the song. It always sounds the same, so those familiar with the tune will quickly recognize it. However, this phenomenon can be difficult to achieve. This extremely complicated tune takes a great deal of focus to play properly. If Abotu misses a single note, the spell immediately vanishes. If he manages to carry the tune without flaw, however, the song could continue to go for hours on end. No worries, though. His arm should get tired...Eventually. For this to work, he must also play his own fiddle. An attempt to do play it on any other instrument would prove futile.

  
  
  

  Entangle

  No Prep Spell
  Causes natural foliage such as grass, vines, or bushes to wrap around the target's body, entangling them. The plants gain no magical properties and are no stronger than they would normally be.

  
  
  

  Disguise Self

  No Prep Spell
  He makes himself, including clothing, armor, weapons, and equipment—look different. He can seem 1 foot shorter or taller, thin, fat, or in between. All armor and weapons are merely for show, and are not tangible.

  
  
  

  Pyrotechnics

  No Prep Spell
  Turns a fire into either a burst of blinding fireworks or a thick cloud of choking smoke, depending on which the caster chooses. The effects are considered magical and can be dispelled by the proper magic.
